I have the exact same issues. Have had techs come out twice now and they cannot figure out the speed issue. Have netgear CM1000 and have tried a 2nd. Also have a Lnksys EA9500 nighawk router. When the technicians use their nic card it gets 950 down. however, ANY router, switch, computer connected to modem drops immediately to 500. Comcast was sure it was my modem so they installed theirs and it does exact same behaviour. All Cables are new Cat6. Very frustrating! I get almost the same down speeds I get with the blast pro so what gives!! Any help comcast or is it time to get Fios in here!!
