I read this whole thread because the same exact thing happened to me. The senior tech support team called me and offered the same advice about checking all of my other devices, check online and syncing the DVR. None of these options worked. It is just coincidental to me that it only deleted my old recordings but did not delete my more recent recordings. I had shows that I was holding in there for a shut in day that I can't even access now and to watch it on demand it will cost me $2.99 per episode!!!! The gentleman on the phone was even able to see some of the shows in the cloud that I did not delete but he couldn't recover them so they sent a tech out who was not able to help me at all. The recordings disapeared somewhere between September 2nd-9th, I believe. Weird to hear someone with the same exact issue and story that I have! Cable is too expensive for this!
