I agree it is a scam. Was told by the customer service person who sold us our phone that we qualified. Got an email saying we qualifed but now....more than 6 months later.....we are told nope,....no card for you. I am now seriously rethinking going with Xfinity Mobile.

Bought a new Samsung phone and had it activated on June 1. Was told that I qualified for a $200.00 gift card. I ALSO got an email saying I had a $200.00 gift card coming my way. Since it is now Dec.....called to find out where my gift card was. Now I was told that I did not qualify since I got a new phone and did not just transfer service from an old phone (huh!?!?).
The FIRST line of the email says....
Congrats—you just got a new device and now you have a $200 prepaid card coming your way!
I don't see the words bring your old phone ANYWHERE.....I see the word "NEW"
The guy who helped us even said we qualified for the promotion. Guess he was lying too.
Guess that promotion was just a scam to get you in to buy a phone from them. SCAM.....SCAM....SCAM.
Definitely makes me double think going with Xfinity Mobile. They are TERRIBLE and truly care nothing for their customers

I ordered a phone (and paid the deposit) on 6-27 and it said I would get the phone in 4-5 days. A few weeks later, I called and was told due to overwhelming response, there was a delay....ok...that can happen. I was told my phone would be shipped soon.
So another week goes by and nothing....so I go onto the status page on my account and my order is gone....totally disappeared. I again call and was told that yes....the order was still there and my phone would be shipped in 24-72 hrs.
Soooo....on to Aug 3....more than 5 WEEKS AFTER I ordered the phone and still nothing. Now when I call, the person I spoke to can't find the order anywhere....nor can he find the payment (I have a confirmation email from the original order dated 6-27). He can't refund the payment since he cannot find it (even though it still shows on my credit card). AND.....he cannot honor the deal I got since it was past July 31. By now I am irate....MORE than irate.....
He "claims" to put in an "urgent" ticket to see what happened. I was told that I would hear something in about 24 hours.
I then had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my deposit back AND I filed a complaint with the BBB.
It is now 3 days later and I have not heard anything so I doubt he even put in the "urgent ticket".
If I had not been lied to about my order.....TWICE..... previously to July 31, I would have been able to re order my phone. Now I wait. All I want is to be able to order the phone I wanted at the deal I originally used back on 6-27. Is that too much to ask?.....especially after being lied to SEVERAL TIMES.
I still have the email confirmation of my original order, yet no one at Xfinity can help without lying to me.
