I also would like to add how disapointing it is to have learned (via the thread above) that the HDTV (800 level) channels are unavailable. I'd originially purchased a new Roku express as I'd read it supposed to be Xfinity app compatible.
This also is inconsistent. The Android Phone App and the PC (in web browser) app each allow me to select and watch content from the 800 level channels.
In contrast- on my Roku express connected to HDTV monitor- watching in the pillar/letter box format is simply unacceptable.
Why is is that with every promising new rollout from Comcast there is always a "gotcha"/"catch"?
Bandwith and storage are cheap. There is no reason to nickel and dime customers on HDTV channel access.
