we called a tech because we could not get our new remote in install, the tech went through a bunch of numbers and it still would not install. the tech said "we will have to send someone out" he made the appointment and a tech came out. when we opened the door we noticed he did not have his booties with him. it was wet and messy outside. we asked him if he had booties and he said yes in the truck. Do you want me to get them? we said yes he put the booties on and came in. he went to the tv clicked on set up, which the telephone tech did not tell us to do, and got the remote set up in a matter of minutes. we told him the old remote kept using up batteries and he argued with us that it is because of the light on the remote. it didnt happen with our other emote but he kept arguing with us. in my experience a person dealing with a customer does not argue with the customer. this guy was very rude. we got our bill and was charged 40 dollard service fee and 5.95 installation charge when it wasnt our fault we couldnt install the remote. the telephone tech was not giving us the right instructions. i think comcast pulls this to get more money.
