I followed the advice of the thread and I'm up and working again! I typed this exactly and was up and running in two minutes.
First I went here: https://support.xfinity.com/chat?t=xfinityapps
Then I verified who I was and typed this:
I need an account refresh for all of my apps. I cannot log into the HBO-Go Activation app and this thread on the comcast support forum fixed the problem for many others. https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Stream-TV-App/HBO-GO-Activation-Not-Working/m-p/3118030#M16874
