Samsung S8 updated to PIE immediately stopped sending picture messages without turning on mobile data. I spent 2 hrs at xfinity who said it's a network problem, they then spent 45 minutes with their Verizon tech who pointed at Samsung. I spent an hour and a half with Samsung as we safe booted my phone, cleared the main cache, cleared the message data, cleared the message cache, cleared the phone cache. I was then directed to an authorized Samsung care facility 2 hrs from my home. What the heck, why not? I went to UBREAKIFIX Store, they called Samsung to get authorization to reflash my phone and then did. After the reflash of the software..... same problem. It didnt do a thing. I was asked if the carrier has premium messaging switched on for my account. I asked xfinity in a text chat and they said "We dont know, call us and maybe those techs can see."
