X1 primary box does not have an IR extender/receiver input. Called customer support to see if there is a different IR extender recommended (the secondary box has the normal input like the old dvr boxes) and Comcast tranfered me 4 times, still without a resolution. (Called the support number listed on the X1 user's guide, then was transfered to X1 support, who transfered me to sales, who transfered me back to X1 support.) How is it THIS difficult for Comcast people to find the appropriate department to answer questions?!
