Well I thought that was wierd too being sent here as a link from the first post i read about error 00021 - (this discussion moved here) which based on what i have seen has a number of explanations, lets see, virus, outage in the area, signal loss on specific channels, even though all channels were affected, didn't actually read all of them but enough to know I needed to call it in. All of which mysteriously cleared up on there own as i was getting past the menus when dialing phone support. All the while the main box was functioning perfectly. This leads me to 2-3 conclusions. No one at comcast really knows what this means, the links in this forum point to the wrong places and a rep will make up anything to explain away a problem they have no clue about. New system problems are somewhat understandable and expected but how new is this X1 system? seems to me only a recent catch up to what was already being offered by the competition. Tell you what, when you figure out where posts like these are supposed to go, clean up this board and send people to the right place instead of complaining about me not being in the right place. Maybe ask how they got here in the first place.

Same thing here and the internet virus thing sounds stupid. Only the small secondary box has this issue and its been going on for a day now despite several refeshes and power reboots. Will call cable in the morning. We just got this x1 system finally and now this, definitely glad i did not lock in a 2 year thing and can bail if this continues. I do like the system but the freezes and this are starting to let me know something is wrong and its not a virus.
