Comcast is not getting the message. It seems to people that Comcast deleted the messages because Comcast's protocols changed and customers weren't adequately alerted. In deleting old emails, I would search for sender, check that I didn't want any, and delete all. It used to be that ONLY the emails in the search were deleted. At some point that protocol changed and not only were the emails in the search deleted, ALL emails in the INBOX were deleted. It was very easy to do if that was your habitual way of deletion. Once that happened, it was impossible to retrieve all but the past 6 months, even with Comcast's help. So in effect, Comcast is responsible for changing the programming and not informing customers.
