I bought a mini dvi to hdmi cable on amazon for 10 bucks to hook up my macbook pro to the tv so i can get hbogo that way. Playon isn't availabe for mac.. The picture is very good. I also watch anything else that  streams, so your not limited to roku only channels. I have a roku and it would be better if comcast would get up to speed and add hbogo, but for the time being this works fine. ... View more

I guess comcast wins, we will never see hbogo on the roku, After months of reading these post and things are still the same. I have plenty of streaming options and I can watch hbogo on the tv by pluging in the       laptop, but i hate wires. I just dont know why they let us access it on the computer but not roku. ... I think they are blocking it so they dont lose money from the rental of a second set top box . I watch hbo on the main tv and have the comcast set top box there . but in the bedroom i just have the standard cable with a roku . If they would allow roku users access then I could have hbo in my bedroom for no extra payment , But to get hbo in my bedroom now I have to rent another box .
