I have to turn our porch lights on at night so the Xcam can "see". It was installed inside on a window sill looking outward and the IR lights reflect off the window blinding it. The outside lights cancel the IR beam and the camera can see at night in the area of the porch lighting. (about 14 feet) The 720p is grainy quality and I would prefer a 1020p camera.
