That is due to several things that the XG1v4 does that the Pace RNG110 does not (and I still have the RNG110).
1. The XG1v4 upscales everything to 4K (which matches your 4K-ready TV perfectly); where the RNG110 upscales, it is - at most - to 1080p.
2. Upscaling tech has improved VASTLY - merely at the STB end - between the RNG110 and the XG1v4; note that the XG1V4 is smaller than the RNG110, yet lacks no features compared to it.
3. The XG1V4 hs been customer-installable from the beginning - which is still not true of the RNG110. (If a *truck roll* is needed when exchanging the RNG110 for the XG1V4, it is merely to pick up the RNG110.)
4. The same observation wil fit any 4K-ready HDTV that supports HDR - not merely Samsung's NU 7 series or above (examples include Samsung's NU 6 series - which is one series down from the NU 7, or the TCL Roku and Toshiba FireTV Edition models; all three have one fewer HDMI input than the Samsung NU 7 series, hence the decreased interest from console gamers).
