Hello, When I had this problem it is a network issue. What I did was called comast and they had to contact the individual network and they got it fixed within 24-48 hrs.

Hello, That means the server is down Open Task Manager > Processes tab. See if one or more instances of OUTLOOK.EXE are running. Also check the Outlook settings to be sure it is not checking for mail more often than every 5 minutes. .

Hello, Here is how my friend has it setup and it works for him. You need to go into the Comcast router and configure the DMZ. As I recall, the Comcast router's range is 10.0.1.x for their business service. I just did this, I configure the DMZ for 10.0.1.2, then configured the connected router's WAN setting for a static IP address and pointed it to 10.0.1.2 for the IP address and 10.0.1.1 for the Default Gateway and DNS server addresses. You can try also some free remote services which will allow you to access your home network remotely which I tired and work fairly well and not difficult to set up.

Hello, If those are only your needs then here are my chooses but everybody has there own preference what might be good for me might not be good for you. For netgear I like the WNDR3400,3700 and 4500 and the linksys E3200 which we use a lot at work. Never had any problems. Prices may vary a lot so it is best you shop around.

Hello, Many customers using that gateway are having similar issues with poor wifi signal reception. This is what my recommendation to do. I would call 1 800 363 2416 and get the built in router placed in bridge mode. Once the gateway is in bridge mode it will act like a simple modem. Then you can connect and use a wifi router of your own.

Hello, I would try this first unplug the tv and the set top box for a couple of minutes. I would turn the tv on and then be sure your tv is set to the default channel (my area is channel 3). After waiting a couple of minutes if you don't see anything try calling comcast again and have them send another signal. You can also try the component cables because sometimes the hdmi cables can be troublesome. If that does not help then you might need to call comcast and have a tech come out.

What am I doing wrong here? Hello, It sounds like the box is not activated. You will have to call comcast 1-800 comcast and provide them with the serial numbers etc. from the back of the box.
