About 2 weeks ago i was using my Comcast email in Outllook (2010) as i have for years. I noticed that my Outbox was loaded with emails with attachments, that were not being sent.
Experimented, and narrowed it down to any email with any size attachment would sit in my outbox with a Send/Receive error ('Cannot connect to the network'). Sends fine if i remove the attachment.
I am using IMAP :
Incoming - imap.comcast.net 993 SSL
Outgoing - smtp.comcast.net 465 SSL ( i also tried 587 TLS)
I read online that Comcast recently upgraded its email servers. Something has changed.
