I've spent WAY too much time on the phone, chat and at the local service center on this so I'm hoping someone has some thoughts here. I am simply trying to get a copy of my final statement. The refund check I received is not for the correct amount and the statement would help me straighten this out.
I moved 6 weeks ago and since it was from an apartment to a house they closed my old account and opened a new one. The day the old account was closed the online access ended. I can log in but when I go to any account pages it says there was an error pulling my account information and to call customer service.
Customer service by phone and chat keep saying the same thing - all they have access to is the final amount but not the actual statement. For that both tell me I have to go to a local service center. I have been to two service centers and spoke with more than one person at each - ending up with the manager. They insist they have no access to closed accounts and I have to go back to the 800 number or chat.
At this point I've interacted with at least 12 people in the last 6 weeks and all say they can not access my statements but then tell me to contact one of the other service methods.
Today was the final straw - Lecilyn in Chat insisted she had finally taken care of the situation and (thankfully I keep all the chat transcripts):
"As a head's up, we now have an Specialized Team from Comcast Solutions Department who caters all the Xfinity customers who closed an old account and still having billing concerns. I've sent them our important notification for the final billing copy request and an account owner, you only need to follow up by reaching them at 1-800-934-6489. This is our Case ID number [omitted] for your reference. Lecilyn 10:38:32 AM"
Once I dialed the number and it came up in my phone I realized it was the same number I've called a bunch of times before. After just a few minutes talking to them they said they have no clue what she is talking about and they also can't help with the statement.
Can anyone here know how one can do something as simple as getting a copy of a final statement?
