I am having the EXACT same problem. Our recordings are disappearing then showing back up. Our DVR says it is at almost capacity but we only have about 4 hours worse of recordings on there. Other issues we have had: We will only have audio and no video, this seems to happen a couple of times a week The box locks up and won't respond to commands, lock up can be a couple of seconds to a minute. This happens daily Recoding light has never worked until today randomly We need to reset the box at least once a day, sometimes this fixes things. Constantly shortens recordings so we miss the last minute. It will record shows we didn't ask it to Why is this thing so poorly programmed/designed? We should be getting paid (service discount) for beta testing something that clearly isn't ready for use. I had a DVR with Dish in 2007 that worked perfectly and have yet to get something from Comcast that even came close to this. Very disappointing.
