I agree with the password manager (or vault) comments and have been using it for years. Even though the vault should appear after the new install, I would do an export (backup) prior. I try to do it 2x a year anyway. "Murphy" might just be hidding in the bushes so the backup always a good thing to do.

I have experienced the following: 1. Higher data usage than normal in the past month or two without a change in my own habits. 2. Data usage happening when I am not in the country (there is no one else that uses my connection. Would like to ask the community what I can do to fix or what additional info might be needed to troubleshoot. I have changed wifi passwords, and selected a security option in my router to not allow new unrecognized devices to connect.

I gave up, after years of saying Id give up comcast email...I did, entirely, I love the new email I chose and I simply avoid comcasts page now. If I need to use my acct I use f fox (which is still out dated LOL). Like the others I appreciate your help very much usaf, always have. ITs odd comcast doesnt give a hoot, but then again...theyre so big they really dont need a certain number of customers to keep running, there is always another. I wonder if enough folks avoid their page (ads) theyd care? I bet most people looking at numbers of reads on this post think well theyre working on it and say nothing. ITs a bit disconcerting that they get "hacked" on their page and dont care tho', makes me wonder how safe my info is w/ them. And yes its hard in an area w/ no competition. Unfair really. Do you have a center channel speaker connected to your pioneer receiver?? On most channels, digital audio has speech coming from the center only. On the pioneer receiver change the sound mode to " ext stereo ". That should work.

Brilliant! THANK YOU. We've been dealing with out channels defaulting to the stretch format for a year. Watching normal TV that isn't such a big deal, since you can change the format using the HD Zoom buttom, but that option doesn't work in On Demand, so any movie of show we watched that way was stuck all stretched out. None of the Comcast representatives had any clues at all or even suggested trying this method. They kept insisting that it was a problem with ot TV settings and not the box. Following your instructions fixed it right up. In the User Settings it was listed as "Stretch" for some odd reason. All I had to do was turn that off and all is well. I'm very grateful.
