I want a dvr that works as well as my panasonic dvr from 15 years ago that I can no longer use because comcast used their control of NBC news to get politicians to do what they want (encrypt all feeds). Or my old VCRs for that matter. If you take away basics for "new" stuff, you are still going backwards.
