I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A model SM-T580 tablet (wifi only) running Android 7.0. xfinityhome 9.14.13 is installed. I can login, view the home page (including see a very recent camera image), move around the settings pages, but when I tap on the camera image (to go to the camera/video page), the page comes up for a few to several seconds before I get a pop up that says the home app has stopped and gives me the choice of restarting the app or sending feedback. The app restarts automatically (back on the home page) almost instantly. I've subbmitted feedack a few times.
I want to thank ComcastKenf for his help with this. He gave me a number of things to try, which were unsuccessful. I pretty much gave up at that point, but I've been trying the app when there was a system update to the tablet or when I noticed that the Home app had updated. Today, after the Home App update to 9.26.5, the Home app worked as expected when I loaded the camera page.
My issue is resolved.
After the latest update, everytime I try to turn off a zone the app keeps crashing. I've restarted my phone and tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but it continues to crash.
When I try to sign in to the Home app on my Galaxy S5, a window pops up that says Unfortunately Home has stopped. This is a new install of Home. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. The phone software is up to date, In fact this occured after a factory reset on the phone. The app has worked in the past ( a couple of months ago, before the factory reset).
Right after posting my question I saw that a new version of the app was made available yesterday. Uninstalling my app and installing the new version solved the problem. Thanks for responding to my post!

Thanks so much for taking the time to post here. I was able to pull up your account & share with engineering. We believe that what you are experiencing is related to an issue that we have been looking into already. We believe that our next app update should help & would like to follow up with you then.
The xfinity home app crashes when I try to open it on my iPad. My iPad has the latest update installed.
Thank you for such a prompt reply! I just installed the update- evidently it hadn't been pushed through yet when I posted last night. It works perfectly now. A big thank you to the techs and engineers behind the scene who fixed this issue too.
when I tap the app it says "restart app", "close app' or "send report". I un-installed, re-installed several times today (3/1318), but no luck. It worked totally fine yesterday (and for the last several years). HELP!
Hi Carl911 -
I apologize for the frustration that this has caused & understand your concerns. I am & will continue to provide updates & details as they become available.
We’ve been able to restore service. If you’re still experiencing issues, please PM me, but we expect that users will regain functionality. We’re continuing to work the issue and will post an update if we encounter additional service interruptions.
The latest update from 1/23/18 to the Home app crashes when I access the cameras, it worked perfectly for years before that. I'm on iOS 9.3.5 which currently is the latest version for my iPad. The new version states it needs iOS 10 or later. Any way to get the older version back, or fix the new version?
