CAN YOU VIEW THE CHANNEL YOU ARE ON WHILE YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE GUIDE?
With the EPIX channel being made available today, is it included in any packages or does it require an additional $5.99 a month to everyone if they want it?
The Epix channel is an al carte channel that can be added at an additional charge. If interested, send me a private message and I can get it added. For the past 2 days, all I get on this channel is a blank screen.

Funny coincidence...Comcast had a major power black-out throughout the Eastcoast on June, 29th, 2018 that affected cable, internet and television. It was noted by them that a cable line had been cut. Henceforth, July 1st when the cable was repaired the NFL Channel is removed. There is no information via Bill/Letter/TV to inform the customer of the removal. It wasn't learned until a call to Customer's Solutions on 8-18-2018, that the manager stated that the NFL was removed from my package without notification to its customers and that I would have to upgrade to the next package ($15.00 more per mth) to keep the channel. This is a FCC breach of contract and contract violation. The Manager stated that Comcast did not inform it's customers in their billing that they would be removing the NFL Channel from their package.
I ordered EPIX on 06/26. I've been billed $4.97 and $5.00 respectively for the channel. EPIX is currently being offered as a free ON DEMAND, STREAMING ONLY preview, which I can see. I cannot receive the linear broadcast, which I am paying for, as I am receiving error code XRE03121.
I spent over an hour last night chatting with multiple reps trying to fix the issue. The first rep had NO CLUE what she was talking about! Even after I advised her that I was already paying for the service, she told me that I could only receive it via streaming! I am paying for LINEAR (in the channel lineup) and STREAMING access, but I am only receiving HALF of what I am paying for!! I was also told, during that chat, that other EPIX channels were available for streaming, but I don't have access to any of them!
Anyone else having this problem???? Or know of a solution?????
After spending several hours in support chat, I was finally advised to call Comcast for escalated assistance. The first rep there did as the chat reps had done, sent signals to the box, etc. (I had already done system refresh & system reset myself). The call was escalated and Rex tried sending signals (it must be part of their decision tree or something). When that failed to resolve my issue? He REMOVED Epix from my account. (I had to acknowledge it via email). Then, he re-added Epix to my account. (Again, acknowledge through email). VOILA! EVERYTHING WORKS! If you have the same or a similar issue, ask them to remove the channel entitlement & re-add it!!
When i press record after watching a program for a few minutes, it only starts recording from that point, not from the beginning. I saw this was discussed back in 2015. Is this going to be or has it been changed? Thank you.
