I have a new xfinity rouer and I am trying to find the WPS button. There is nothing labeled on it as such

My XB6 has a small button on the top left with two arrows; I suspect that is the WPS button.

FWIW, I always advise posters to never use WPS. It is a potential security risk. Always disable it and manually configure your network settings !!;

For all the “experts” out there advising to not use the wps button, I want to inform you that there are devices out there that ONLY connect thru this wps feature. So advising someone to not use it is just about the poorest answer you can give. I see a lot of these instances where a so called experts’ recommendation doesn’t even come close to directly answering the question, and instead they assume they know the full scope of why the question is asked and so they give these down right stupid answer. This has got to stop. If you don’t have a direct answer for the question, then don’t answer it. As to the actual question, I wonder the same. I have a WiFi expander and I’d like to connect to my xfi router. But there’s only one button on the router with 2 arrows pointing at each other. So I dunno if you have to tap one, twice, hold for short time, hold for long time... any real answers would be greatly appreciated
Thanks for your "opinion". Old dead thread from last year now being closed. Please feel free to create your own new topic here on this board detailing your issue, thank you.
