I have a Netgear C6300. I called about slow internet and the tech support refreshed signal...........didn't help. I have plan for 150 mps but, I'm getting 45 mps. They sent a technician to check and the cable is 150 mps (or so they say) and my modem might need firmware update from co. I have my own modem...............Netgear does not upgrade firmware and explicitly says that the ISP must upgrade regularly the latest version. Comcast support refuses to do so!!!!
What is the game plan here? I understand that my Comcast latest version is 3.01.09 I have 3.0
What is the problem? Why can't I get reasonable support from my over priced internet service (which taxpayers initially paid for the research!!!!).
