sharing my internet service?

My friend will be staying with his parents while he recovers from surgery. they do not have internet service. My friend does not have a cell phone but does have a computer. We currently stay connected through Facebook and video chat on Messenger. Is there a way he can use my Xfinity account so we may stay connected while he is at his parents' house? He lives 50 miles away. I am not very knowledgable about the technology, so please explain in layman's terms. TY

They would have to access an Xfinity hotspot if there’s one available
