router relocation

We have established a more efficient location in our home for a home office and want to move the router from the basement to the main floor of our living area.  How complicated is this?  Is it something that should be left to professional installers?

Did you mean modem or gateway? If so, it just needs a live coax connection wherever you are moving it to
