The past 2 months we have had several internet outtages a week usually late at night and with no warning. I've spent hours in the store and on the phone and nobody can help me and explain what is going on. I've found that rather than spend hours troubleshooting if I just wait till morning it is back up. I was told once they are installing fiber but nobody can confirm this or tell me how long it will take. Is anyone else having similar issues?
Customer support has been terrible. There is nothing they can do and often the website isn't registering the outtage. I'm ready to switch providers and very frustrated.
What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1
Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.
What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?
Is this a WiFi connection ?
