I'm having the worst customer support from Xfinity EVER! I have private messaged 9 different forum employees yet NOT ONE has the decency to send me a message or even look into my issue? I need help and everyone will help other forum posters except myself, what gives?

 

I have a Arris SB8200 and the gigabit Xfinity internet package. I had two techs to my home and the first one did absolutely nothing and the second Johnathan (tech ID #1438) was amazing. Prior to him coming I was pulling just 250Mb down and 35Mb up. He went back to the tap and found severe ingress coming from 4 lines and trapped them off. We went back inside and right away I was getting 950Mb down and 42Mb up. He was kind, courteous and on-time which is a lot more than I can say for 75% of the Xfinity workforce. He deserves a pay raise and if you guys had more people like him you would be number one in customer satisfaction instead of last place for over a decade.

 

So after Johnathan left I thought all was good until that night when my modem started to reset every half hour, or more! I get uncorrectable codewords in the millions but my signal levels are within spec. I tried changing the modem and it has not helped. My speeds fluctuate from 25Mb down all the way to 950Mb and sometimes I have to reset my own modem as my speeds will be next to nothing. I need something done ASAP as I use my line to work from home and I've already used more than 45GB on my T-Mobile tethering as my Xfinity doesn't work! Please get back to me, thank you. I'm going to need a credit for my service as I have been unable to use it successfully since I started with my account.

 

I am happy to answer any questions and I have already sent my account info to everyone, but I am willing to send it again if necessary. T3 and T4 errors are the ones mainly spread all over my log files and a lot of "16 consecutive T3 timeouts while trying to range on upstream channel X" issues as well. And look at my uncorrectable codewords and my modem had just restarted a little bit before this was taken. The modem resets so often I'm unable to get a good idea of how many I get in a given day but I'm sure it's in the millions if not billions! And at night my power and signal levels increase across the board maybe 1-3dB and the issue seems to be worsen towards nightfall.

Ken, I sent you and the other mods a private message with my account info and a thread I started was deleted yet I was given no message or notification? Why was my posted deleted and why has no one, sent to over 8 mods, responded to me at all. I gave my account info and name in my post but nothing? I have called Xfinity and had two techs to my home. I'm at my wit's end here as my modem resets every half hour most of the day and the speeds go up and down like crazy. Please help,

I'm going to escalate your ongoing issue to the Comcast corporate employees that are available to these boards. They will be able to poll the CMTS to see whether or not everything is in the green zone, see your node / cable plant and modem health, and also see a history plot for the modem. You should get a reply here in your topic.

What is going on, I've had EG recommend someone to help me personally and I've made two posts, one deleted, I've sent over 20 private messages with my account info, name, and address and NOT ONE PERSON HAS GOTTEN BACK TO ME. I'm starting my letter to corporate now as apparently you guys don't care so it's a good thing I have a ton of evidence.
