Xfinity 1 Gbps Service - TG3482G - WAN Internet Connectivity lost intermitently many times a day

Similar to other posts I have browsed through, my Xfinity 1Gbps Service is perfect and fast when my Arris TG3482G is connected to Xfinity. However, several to many times a day, my routers loses connectivity to Xfinity and must perform a cycle to reconnect. Very annoying, cannot use our internet, phone calls dropped. I am too scared to perform important work or make an important phone call on our Xfinity phone line as I will more than likely be cut off.

I do have an Ubuntu box with a fork of Nagios monitoring my Xfinity gateway and can provide graphs if interested. I wanted to have some sense of how many times a day this occurs. I was also thinking of writing a script to scrape the below stats so I know what they are right before I lose LAN Connectivity. I am just about annoyed enough with the number of outages to start writing the script and storing the data. But not sure if this will be helpful towards getting stable Xginity service.

My mac is currently directly connected to the Arris TG3482G via ethernet.

It has been ~3.5 hours since the last issue:

Re: Xfinity 1 Gbps Service - TG3482G - WAN Internet Connectivity lost intermitently many times a da

I can't see all of your stats posted, but from I can see your downstream snr is borderline which means less than perfect and likely because of some problem in your cabling between the telephone pole and your modem.  A tech visit will be a good start.
