My XB6 Gateway has been making some loud, humming noises. Is there a way to get it replaced, ideally before I return my current one to the store, so I can minimize the downtime that my internet experiences?

The noise that it makes and the "downtime' are two different issues. The noise is from a built-in cooling fan and if it is excessive, you should have it swapped out for another as it may be malfunctioning.
