Is there a limit to how many WiFi devices I can have on my WiFi network?

what is a good download and upload speed?

Re: Wifi

i guess technically you'd be limited by the number of IP's on your home LAN's subnet. But in reality things would fall apart well before 255 devices. What that # is, will probably depend on usage per device.

As far as a decent download speed, anything over 50Mbps is 'decent' , as an example Netflix 4k UltraHD streaming requires 25Mbps. That is one of the most extreme usage cases you'll find for home use. Outside of maybe peer to peer. As far as upload, Cable based services are always "Asymetrical' upload being far smaller then down. An average connection would be 5-10Mbps up. In most usage cases it would be fine.

{EDIT - your internet speed is really dependant on what you want do with it, what your requirements are for it}

Hope that helps.

Depends on which speed tier you are actually subscribed to ?
