WiFi Issues

Hello,

I've had Xfinity Internet & TV about 2 months which as been great.

I have the standard black dual band modem + Black TV box.

 

I'm changing the room around and wanted to move it to the otherside.. unfortunately it failed to work when I moved it..

 

On the modem after 20 minutes all of the lights were flashing and the Online light was completely dead never flashed once.. when I plug it back in the TV Antenna socket back on the other side it works fine again.

 

Any ideas on the issue here + who would be responsbile my apartment or Xfinity?  Lights flashing plus a dead Online light

It’s not who’s responsible or not, it’s the outlet isn’t active. If you don’t have access to cable connections in your apartment, you’ll need a tech out to see if it’s possible to make where you want the equipment active or not.

Thanks for the quick response.

 

So I should request for a Tech to come out to test if the outlet is inactive / to make it active?

Yes, you’ve already tested it when you tried your modem.
