The WPS button on your Gateway will blink if pressed. It should stop blinking after a few minutes on its own, or until a Wi-Fi device has successfully connected to it.
If it continues to blink, please post again.
nancyC33 and beepo--
Are either of you still experiencing issues with the WPS button on your Wireless Gateways?
The wps button lights up like a beacon. Keeps
Flashing. Not a problem I don't think, but should
It do that?? Thanks Beepo
Our team is looking into this issue further.
In the meantime, if you do not use WPS to connect your Wi-Fi devices, disabling WPS should stop the WPS button from flashing. In order to disable WPS on your Wireless Gateway, please follow these steps:
If you are still experiencing the WPS blinking even after you disable WPS, please let me know.
If you connected your devices using WPS then you will need to reconnect them by entering your wifi password. If you connected them this way to begin with, then you will not have any issue.
