Hello, 

 

Just received Wireless Gateway 3, the Arris TG1682G version.  When I try to enter the admin page at 10.0.0.1 and use the default username admin and password as well, the password, it doesn't work.  I get authentication failed.  I tried multipe times, and did a reset of the device.  To no avail.   I need to get in to put my network settings back in place.

Are you holding in the reset button for around 30 seconds ?

Do you have a backup battery installed?

That doesn't matter if the button is being used for 30 seconds. It would only matter with a powercycle operation by unplugging the power cord.

It's really strange, it now works but only after I had xfi completely activated. Don't like that at all.
