T3/T4 errors, have same log from around 2pm also.

Currently have a service call tomorrow as phone support didn't see an issue

Every day, for years, we've have had so many consecutive T3 timeouts at our Netgear CM1000 DOCSIS modem that our VPN connection drops due to slow response.  I am able to reconnect on my VPN and continue working, but it's a pain when it occurs frequently.  Today was a good day overall, but we still deal with T3 timeouts.  Always have and I fear we always will.  The only thing left is to have Xfinity truckroll a tech out to check the line outside of the house.  Approx 5 years ago Xfinity did send a tech out and he found over 7 hardware related issues on the line outside the house.  We have since then upgraded our DOCSIS (approx 3 yrs ago) to a Netgear CM1000, and every since then we deal with ongoing T3 timeouts.  It seems that our DOCSIS is not able to be "heard" at the headend node often due to a terrible/slow upstream issue.

not great to hear that you have had issues for an extended time, I just checked log again and from 10:50-10:55 there is another string of t3 & t4, hopefully the tech finds something tomorrow.

Same here, same CM1000v2. @mo98003 

But, I had a tech out last week to check the exterior lines from the pole to my house. Other than a filter that was an indoor rather than outdoor, and a loose wire in my outside box, he said it looked perfect.

tech came out today, she was awesome, she checked the line to the house from the pass through, all good there, she replaced the pass through from the pole, removed a filter from the pole, and the signal cleaned up nicely. The modem shows no errors, up time of 9+ hours.

I spent some time chatting with Xfinity support yesterday, and I am happy to say it did not take long for the rep to see the issue with the constant consecutive T3 timeouts in our CM1000 router's log.  A service tech is comming out to check the hardware and line today.  I am hoping the tech finds the issue(s) and we can experience more stable service with our connectivity 🙂

OK -- We are so happy!  Since the Xfinity tech was here on Friday, we have had only 2 small events of 2 or 3 consecutive T3 timeouts and those events were around midnight on Saturday.  Since then, not a single error logged at our DOCSIS modem, and no dropped VPN connections at all.  The Xfinity tech was customer-centric, professional, knowledgible, friendly, and GREAT!!!  He found a few issues outside the house that he fixed/resolved (I do not know exactly what the problems were).  We are VERY happy at this point!
