Slow download speed Gigabit Internet Tier (50 Mbps down/35 Mbps Up)

Speed test from Xfinity/Comcast and various other speed tests site using 2 different Docsis 3.1 modem (Netgear CM1000 and Motorola 8600) wired directly to the computer with a 1 Gigabit Ethernet Port on the computer.

 

Computer Spec: i7 3820 with Integrated Intel Gigabit Ethernet Port on the mainboard (Asus Rampage IV Extreme)

 

Techs came and checked bootfile of the modems to be 1 gigabit and verified that download speed is not breaking 100 Mbps on his own equipment. Tech put in the order to install New cable line outside the house, still did not resolve the problem. 

 

There is no splitter/amplifier on the line since its connected directly from hub outside the house and the cable ran into the room and connects directly to the modem.

 

Tech suggests the tap at the hub to be replaced and put in an order for that and he said it should take about 24 hours and I'll see the new speed. It has been 24 hours and I still havent seen any change in my speed test.

To clarify: I used to have Performance Pro Package and was having 170-180 Mbps download speed at the house recently so its definitely not the wiring in the house.
