I just had my Xfinity modem/router replaced due to a wifi issue, now my Samsung TV isn't able to connect to the internet with a wired connection. When setting up the connection, I get a "wired connection failed" message. It goes on to say the IP Auto setting failed and to ensure that my router has DHCP enabled (which it does - checked that first) or set up IP manually. I didn't have this issue before with the older modem/router. 1 hour on the phone with Comcast tech last night didn't resolve anything (reset router, check your cables, blah blah). I know there are a lot of threads dealing with Samsung TV connection issues, but it appears most all are with wifi. Any suggestions?
