Router offline

Almost monthly our router goes offline for multiple days at a time. We call customer service they do their tests and trouble shooting as well as us doing our own checks and replacements of cables. There are no outages in our area and we have switched routers multiple times. The last time we switched routers, we thought we had stopped having this problem but at the end of March it happened again. Eventually after days of trying to get the internet it came back out of nowhere, but now it has been out again for days. My boyfriend and I do not have schedules that would permit for us to have a technician out and we just think it is a problem with our service considering it is almost a monthly occurrence that happens out of the blue. If anyone has had this problem could you give us our insight. I am so sick of this issue.

Also the router is the one that Comcast provides us.
