Router Bridge mode affect on Phone service

I have a Cisco DPC3941T modem router that I would like to place in Bridge mode and feed my own, third party router. Enabling Bridge Mode looks simple, but I wanted to ask if this would affect my phone service - which is also supported by the modem. I haven't seen this detail discussed in aother poists on the subject and want to avoid the problem of disabling my phone service.

Also... I have UPnP disabled on the router, but I see IGD port mapping assignments in the system log anytime I try to set up a IPnP web cam (Belkin). At the time, I wanted to enable fixed port mapping on the router but not have UPnP active.

Thanks,

Re: Router Bridge mode affect on Phone service

Bridge mode is NOT supposed to disable the phone component.
