Don't have a VPN, but I do have the same Model: TG1682G XB3 gateway and it's been disconnecting multiple times in a day. Even did a factory reset. This thread mentions a firmware update for these. We have TG1682_3.3p17s1_PROD-sey. Is this the most recent?
