Prefix delegation dhcpv6

Prefix delegation dhcpv6

I have a new Ubiquiti X router, and will be gettting a new  Docsis 3.1 modem. It's recommended that I enable DHCPv6 Prefix Delegation on my router setup. It asks for "Prefix length" which I don't know.  I did a chat with support, and they didn't know the answer.  How do I find out what this prefix number is?  I have residential service in SF Bay Area.

Comcast offers /64 PD currently. I have not tried custom dhclient with prefix-tip option (available in isc-dhcp-client since 2017-11) - see their sources.

Remember, Comcast blocks NAT64/DNS64, you will probably want to go dual stack.

You can do a prefix hint of /60 and you will get it at the next renew cycle..  As for blocking NAT64/DNS64 that would news to me..  Dual stack is always a better option..
