Off peak WiFi use

I just checked WiFi use by device and notice that two devices (Google Home and iPad) had “very high” when the household was sound asleep. (4-5 a.m.)  What could be causing this? Thanks!

Re: Off peak WiFi use

You may get a slow down at peek times from Comcast. Bypass your router and connect your PC via ethernet to the modem. Test the speeds at different times. If the speeds are close, then you may have some interference on your WIFI channels. Try using a different channel.

For clarity, are you referring to "very high" speeds indicated on a speed test or "very high" bandwidth consumption ?
