New XB7 with gigabit internet bridged drops internet frequently

So very long story but for the last month my Internet has been horrible. It will drop the WAN side to the Internet and access to the 10.0.0.1 config page. I am using bridge mode because the double NAT will not work with the company VPN. I am using another wifi router because the parental controls do not block new devices by default so the windows and ios randomize MAC just bypass the filters and controls.

 I digress..

About 6 months ago I had an XB6 and using the wifi. It was working great until about 2 months ago. It started having Internet connectivity issues on Wifi and wired. I turned off the wifi and hooked up my eeros for wifi and still had the same problems. I switched to bridged mode in the XB6 for the VPN issues with the double NAT and still the same issues. After many calls to support and modem provisioning and restarts I got them to send me out a new XB7. I still have the same random frequent disconnects.

My XB6 logs had this right after this occurred.

The XB7 logs have nothing in them except starting the harvester. When this occurs I can ping the eero LAN 10.10.10.1, a printer 10.10.10.11 on wireless and wifi. I believe the LAN and wifi is working correctly. I can not ping the modem config page at 10.0.0.1, or 8.8.8.8 (google DNS). If i use whatismyip.com to get the WAN it will not ping also. Funny thing is the modem config page has a different WAN IP.

Would bridge mode be the cause? I have an old ARRIS surfboard modem I could try but it does not support the 1GB speed. It maxes out at 600. However that stable would be better then faster but intermittent. Would it even activate I wonder.

Cheers,
