New Gateway is humming

Just upgraded Xfinity Gateway and it is humming. The hum can be heard from across the room. It sounds like a fan in the devise. Is this a bad unit or the standard for this devise. If it is standard, we will need to change to another model. The hum is distracting.

It's a known issue. It's a cooling fan. Some are noisier than are others. Have them swap it for another.
