Netgear CM1100 && Arris Surfboard SB8200 DOCSIS 3.1 Modem - SYNC timing synchronization failures

I recently purchased two CM1100 cable modems and return both of them because of the same errors listed in the event log. I purchased another brand of cable modem Arris SB8200 hoping it clear up the same error below and sadly I'm getting the same errors with this new equipment. I had a comcast tech valid my signal (no noise ) up and downstream signal is good. I don't have a splitter only a barrel (comcast provided) connector connected to a co-ax connecting straight to my cable modem. All new wiring was installed and ground a month ago. I'm at a lost here and hoping someone could point me in the right direction on how to resolve this matter.

Hi,

 

I have not seen any new event log errors generated automatically from the cable modem (Arris Surfboard SB8200) since my last post. Keep in mind, I haven't reboot the cable modem if the errors truely gone away. I'll reply back later this evening with the result.

The sync timing error did not appear after rebooting the cable modem. One error message down two more to go. "Dynamic Range Window violation" and RNG-RSP CCAP Commanded Power Exceeds Value. Do I need a tech to come out to check the line again?

Not unless you are actually having a connectivity issue. Modem logging mechanisms can many times be quite the hypochondriac.
