Netgear CM1000 Modem only connecting at 100 Mbps not 1000 Mbps

My Netgear CM1000 modem only connects at 100 Mbps (Amber light) and not it's usual 1000 Mbps (green light). I've tried different CAT 5e and CAT 6 cables, no change. Using a Netgear R7000 router immediately behind the modem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Seems a sad shame to be paying for this bandwidth and only receiving 1/10th of the possible download speed.

What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1

Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.
