Multiple drops daily

Hi All,

 

For the last few weeks I've been having multiple connectivity drops daily; needless to say it's pretty annoying. I initially thought it was the modem, I had an older Arris Surfboard so I bought a new one. It seemed OK for a few days, then the issues started up again. I next thought maybe it was a cabling issue, so I disconnected/reconnected all the coax junctions; no difference. I then swapped out the splitter coming off the street. I replaced it with what Comcast originally installed years back (Antronix CMC2004H) but the issues persist. 

 

I monitor wifi periodically and it sort of seems like the issues started coincidentally around the time a new Xfinity hotspot appears (wild assumption is there was a new install on my street). Maybe just coincidence.

Modem = Motorola Model MB8600

Lights seem to indicate I'm getting a full on DOCSIS 3.1 connection.

I've got it connected to a Netgear Nighthawk X4S R7800.

 

When the connection is working and stable I get great downstream speeds (280 Mbps+ down).

 

I did contact tech support and they went through the whole "refresh the signal" thing; it seemed better for a day or two, then back to multiple drops a day.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.
