Modem is restarting every couple of hours

I do not use the modem for internet, as I have my own Nighthawk router and this has never happened. nothing is wrong with the rounter, as that isn't what is restarting. It is the modem. I know I used to be able to access the modem even tough it wasn't my "router" but now I cannot get to it for some reason. I have cable, internet, etc but it is rebooting constantly and I work from home. This is not good. I have had this thing less than 2 years and others I have had for 10 without issue. I have unplugged it many times to reset and it is still happening. What can I do, or how can I have a tech bring me a new one?

What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?

They look normal, because when it comes back up it works. The problem is that it reboots 10 times a day or more. Killing me at work.  None of those addresses take me anywhere. Again I have a router and a wifi extender in another room.  I have no way to get into the modem with those addresses.

O/k so the http:// 10.0.0.1 address should work . Try it with a hardwired connection when the gateway device is online. You need to look under the Status tab / button.
