Just installed a new MB8600 to replace my old SB6121 and upgraded service to Gigabit. The MB8600 requires frequent resets to reestablish service., as in several a day.
When working download speeds to the router (UDM_PRO) are in excess of 900mb. Downstream signals are 5 dBmv and upstream 42 dBmv. SNR is 43 dB. 32 Bonded downsteam channels and 4 up. No uncorrected codewords and nothing in the log. BUT the log erases on reset so I cannot tell what happened before it locked up. The modem Web interface is not available when locked up.
I see other complaints about this in some reviewes and on this forum but no answers. Tried the Motorola help website and opened a support ticket. After a few days they asked a question to which i responded. After a week I am still waiting.
