Keep Getting ACCESS DENIED when trying to access certain websites

Whenever I attempt to access www.nordstrom.com on my home WiFi network I receive an “access denied” message on my PC, iPhone, and iPad. If I turn off the WiFi on my iPhone and iPad I can successfully access the site. I recently went to my friend’s home and was able to access the website on her xfinity WiFi network.

I’m using a Xfinity Arris router/modem.

I can continue to turn off my WiFi when I want to access this website, but I would love to find a solution to this issue.

I can reach the site. When one customer cannot reach a site but others can, it usually means the site is blocking that customer's public Comcast IP. The fact that you can reach the site using cell service or a friend's Internet connection supports this -- when you switch over, your public IP changes. You can look up your IP at https://www.google.com/search?q=IP. You'll probably need to ask the site's admins for help with this.

What does a trace to www.nordstrom.com show? In Windows, open a Command Prompt window, enter

    tracert -4 www.nordstrom.com

and post the output. Mine looks like:

tracert -4 www.nordstrom.com

Tracing route to www.nordstrom.com [104.117.45.47] over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 15 ms 12 ms 8 ms router1 [192.168.1.1]
2 22 ms 15 ms 13 ms 96.120.9.181
3 22 ms 21 ms 16 ms te-0-6-0-0-sur02.york.pa.pitt.comcast.net [162.151.68.57]
4 22 ms 14 ms 14 ms 96.110.24.214

6 31 ms 25 ms 24 ms be-34-ar01.mckeesport.pa.pitt.comcast.net [69.139.168.141]
7 39 ms 37 ms 30 ms be-7016-cr02.ashburn.va.ibone.comcast.net [68.86.91.25]

12 43 ms 46 ms 55 ms a104-117-45-47.deploy.static.akamaitechnologies.com [104.117.45.47]

Trace complete.

Also, when Comcast blocks a site, they don't return "access denied". They don't return anything at all.

What device are you using when you try to access that website?
