I'm having a problem adding a device via Wifi with the Jinvoo Smart app. In troubleshooting, their technician said that it might be because Mac Address on my Gateway Router might be blocking it. How do I find out if that is the case?

First thing to try is to make sure that the wifi network your phone is connected to is a 2.4G network, not a 5G network. I had the same trouble until I saw the information hidden away somewhere in the app that it only works with 2.4.

I called Comcast and was lucky enough to get an agent who knew what the problem was. My Wifi had to be separated into 2.4 and 5. As you mentioned, the Jinvoo only works on 2.4
